Evangelism
is the proclamation of truth into lives or a life without truth or bringing
light to those who are in darkness, saving those who are lost, rescuing
those who are drowning, giving sight to those who are blind, etc.. God
is waiting for us to share our faith so He can awaken thosewho
are asleep spiritually.
Genesis 1:2,3a "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over
the face of the waters. Then God said..."
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and
spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart."
Why Share My Faith?
1.
God Said To
Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All
authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore
and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age." Amen"
Mark 16:15, 16 - "And He said to them, "Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized
will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."
God
Wants them Saved
1. He Sent Jesus
John 3:16,17 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life. or God did not send His Son into the world to condemn
the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
2.
He's Sent Us
(2Cor 5:18,19 NKJV) "Now all things are of God, who has reconciled
us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of
reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world
to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed
to us the word of reconciliation."

No One Else Will
Romans 10:14,15 "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have
not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not
heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they
preach unless they are sent? As it is written: " How beautiful
are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad
tidings of good things!"
4. You Believe
Do you believe the Gospel? Than we should be compelled to share our
faith, knowing that flames await those who are not saved. Would you
save someone out of a hotel or house fire? Would you go and knock on
the door? You might say, I can see it, but when you believe it, you
do see it.
James 2:14-17 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says
he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother
or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says
to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you
do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does
it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is
dead."
5.
Warfare
The devil's trying to keep people from believing so they'll go to everlasting
destruction which was only meant for him. We need to rescue everyone
possible from that destructions by showing them the only way to salvation.
Revelation 12:12 "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell
in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil
has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has
a short time."
Acts 5:17-20 "Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were
with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled
with indignation, 18 and laid their hands on the apostles and put them
in the common prison. 19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the
prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 "Go, stand in the
temple and speak to the people all the words of this life."
What to Share with Everyone?
1.
GRACE
Heaven is a free gift. It is not something you work for or deserve.
The Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23
KJV).
The Bible also says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works,
so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
SO WHAT KEEPS US FROM GETTING THIS GIFT?
2.
SIN
We all sin, and we cannot save ourselves.
What is sin? Sin is anything that we think, say, do, or don't do, that
does not please God.
The Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory
of God" (Romans 3:23).
The Bible also says, "Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father
is perfect" (Matthew 5:48).
THERE MUST BE A DIFFERENT WAY-GOD'S WAY!
3.
GOD
God is loving, but God is also just.
The Bible says, "God is love" (1 John 4:8b); but the Bible
also says, "(He) will by no means clear the guilty" (Exodus
34:7b KJV).
On the one hand, God loves us and doesn't want to punish us;
but on the other hand, God is just and must punish sin.
DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM?
GOD SOLVED THIS PROBLEM BY SENDING HIS SON JESUS.
4.
CHRIST
Jesus is God. He came from Heaven to earth. He lived a perfect life.
He died on the cross and rose from the dead, to pay the penalty for
our sins and to purchase a place in Heaven for us.
The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have
everlasting life" (John 3:16 KJV).
"The LORD has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all"
(Isaiah 53:6b KJV).
HOW DO WE GET THIS GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE? BY FAITH.
5.
FAITH
Saving faith is not just knowing about God in your head. Saving faith
is not just temporary.
Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our eternal life.
The Bible says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved
…" (Acts 16:31).

A. Romans Road - Romans 3:23 - All have
sinned; 6:23 - the consequences of those sins is everlasting destruction;
5:8 - God is good and while we were sinners, Christ, the guiltless and
perfect Son of God was sent to take our punishment; 10:9.10 - If we
confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that
God has raised Him from the dead we can be saved
B. Bridge Method - There is a gap between man and God, the gap is sin, and the ONLY Way to Bridge that gap is through faith in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice of the cross and His resurrection from the dead.
C. 4 Spiritual Laws (God LOVES, Man is sinful, Jesus Christ alone is God's way, Receive Him)
D. ABC (All have sinned, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and confess Jesus as Lord)
